History

Established in 2002.

I had been employed at Kirsch/Levelor for 23 years when it was closed in 2001.  I took the years at Kirsch and a business degree and established Peg’s Blinds and Shutters.   I also brought the knowledge of repairing window treatments to the company.  This has proved to be a great addition to what I offer my clients as well as retail of Blinds, Shutters, Shades etc.

Meet the Business Owner

Peggy P.

Business Owner

I worked at  Kirsch/Levelor here in Waco for 23 years.   I got my training at this plant by learning everything I could about the manufacture of window treatments.  I had known for a while that I wanted to start my own business one day.

I decided to go to  McLennan Community College for a Degree in Business Management to learn more about running a business day to day and decide if that was really what I wanted to do.  My desire to open my own business had not changed, If anything I was more determined.

Kirsch/Levelor closed in 2001 and with my years of hands on experience and my business management degree I established Peg’s Blinds and Shutters on January 1, 2002.  I have learned a lot in the thirteen years I’ve been in business  and met a lot of great people along the way.
